There is a consensus of opinion here that the prohibition of emigration of British Indians to countries "where they am not wanted will be enforced against Natal unless the latter ameliorates the treatment of free Indians. Tho Hindoo Nationalists of the Punjab have initiated a boycott of Mohammedan traders, which extends to tho liberal professions. Heavy losses ar<> being incurred as the Hindoos generally are wealthier than the others.
