About £800 worth of radium belonging to a London medical man, who is a specialist in radiography, has been accidentally destroyed. It is understood that the doctor, while using the radium, was called out to an urgent case, 'and that during iris absence the tubes were inadvertently thrown into the fire with some soiled bandages. A dish of cinders is all that now remains of the £800 worth — a .comparatively large supply of fifty milligrams.
