Veitch, Kilgour, Plimmer, Wiggins (s) 15; Hogg, Cluttten, Pauling, Dickson (s) 22. Totals: Thorndon 75; Nelson 75. ' The game between Dickson and Wiggins was exceedingly interesting. It was the last riuk to finish, and although Dickson had an easy win in the rink th© result affected the aggregate of tho Thorndon-Nelson contest. The full totals at the 20th head— with three rinka finished— stood : Nelson 75, Thorndon 74. Wiggins made two dead lieads in succession at the 21st head, thus averting a defeat for tho visitors. In th© final head Nelson lay one shot when Plimmer drove the jack into the ditch following in with his bowl. Dickson failed to draw a most difficult 6hot, and the match resulted in a tie — 75 all. In this rink there were no less than nine dead heads. There was much excitement at the finish. EIVERSDALE V. NELSON. ' Nelson team given first: — Menzies, Leckie, Brown, Jacka (s) 25 ; Clung, Heffer, Weymss, Linstrom (s) 16. GRAND TOTALS FOR THE DAY. Nelson 214 Visitors -', 187 Afternoon tea was provided by Mrs W. W. Squires, wife of tho vice-pre-sident. Thero was a large attendance of spectators, and the green was in excellent condition.
