DEATH OF A FARMER.
Chrlstchurch, March 27. Robert Wm. Woodall 75 years of age, a retired farmer, who was admitted to the hospital on Saturday suffering from an intestinal obstruction, died whilst undergoing an operation under ether the same day. At tho inquest a verdict was returned that death was due to the shock of tho operation, and was not in any way connected with the administration of the anaesthetic.
