Barger's subsurface torpedoer, which is immune from small gun nre. It costs £4500, its weight, is six tons, end its length 46 feet. It carries a 10001 b charge of guncotton and two men stationed in the conning tower amidships to steer it close to the opposing battleship and take aim. Uiey then leave- the torpedoer by means or lifeboats or lifebelts.
