Mr-Travis first established a record by defeating Cecil Healey, of Melbourne, after playing 36 hours; Percy Freeman, of Sydney, also gave up after 51 hours ; and Chas. Parnell, of Auckland, who played' for 52 hours, but Mr Travis kept going till he reached 60 hours, thereby establishing the world's record for continuous piano playing.
