MYSTERIOUS DEATH.
Auckland, March 21. The dead body of Charles Gilbert, storekeper, was found in a ditch beyond Kaukapakapa,with several stabs on the left arm, and in his pocket a bloodstained knife, with a paper inside.the hat boaring the following words: — "Too done up to go any further. Lost coat and -all contents."
