HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
From "The Colonist," Mar. 2.) '■ Tlie committee of the above named Society met last evening, when Mr B. H. Moller presided. There was a good 'attendance, about fourteen members being present. It was resolved to hold tho autumn chow on Wednesday and Thursday, April 27th and 28th. The Committee devoted soma time in drawing up the schedule for the show, which task was completed with tho exception of the fruit classes. The latter were, referred to a sub-commit-tee and representative fruit growers. Messrs B. H. Moller and G. A. Harkness were appointed as tho judges for the cut flowers, and Mr S. F. Bolton as judge* of the fruit and vegetables. A resolution was passed regretting the death of Miss G. F. Sunley, and recognising the loss the society iiad sustained by losing the services of so energetic a worker and supporter. Sympathy was expressed with the bereaved relatives. A vote of thanks to the chairman brought the meeting to a close.
