EARTH'S EQUATORIAL RADIUS.

GEODETIC SURVEY REPORT. [Pbebs AasoounoH— Coptbight.] New York, Mar. 7. The United States Geodetic Survey announces that the equatorial radius of the earth is 6,378,000 metres, and that this estimate is exact within six feet, due to continuous triangulation on the basis of 41 states' surveys. The report adds that the earth's crust extends 75 miles, when the liquid pressure begins.
