The Duke of Westminster's remarkable estate railway, over which the King was lately a passenger, was built inIBSF6 by Sir Arthur Perclj val, at a cost of nearly £6000. It has a 15-inch gauge, and tihe perthanent way connects Eaton Hall with the Great Western Railway at Balderton, three miles away. It also has branches extending another mile and a half to various ©state works. Tiie rolling stock consists of two or more engines, thirty or forty waggons, a brake and parcels vans, and a number of neatly upholstered passenger carriages. ■ ,- 0 ■ '
