"MOONDYNE."

A contemporary, in noticing the Taylor-Carrington's new drama says: — "Moondyne" is one of tho best of Australian plays. The plot is ingenious and carefully worked out, the sensationalisms are exciting, the comedy portions extremely funny, and the dialogue powerful and interesting. Mr Taylor, as the hero, plays with power and considerable artistic restraint, and Miss Ella Carririgton's performance of Sister Cecilia is a most natural performance of a novel and interesting character. The cast of characters is a lengthy one, but the parts are done full justice to by the members of the new company. The scenic beauties of the piece are many and varied, the most striking, however, being "The convicts's camp by night," "The con vict ship heealmed in the tropics," and the view of "Fremantle in the forties." "Moondyne" will be staged at the Theatre Royal to-night and to-morrow evening "East Lynne" will he presented. Seats may be reserved for each performance at Bolton's store.
