CONVICTED OF ATTEMPTED MURDER.
ACCUSED SENTENCED TO TEN XEARS. [United Tress ->.ssocution.] Auckland, Feb. 18. After a retirement of an hour and threcquarters, tho jury at the .Supreme. Court to-day . found George Oliver guilty of attempted murder of his wife at Kingsland on December 29th, by shooting 'her, and also of attempted suicide. The prisoner was sentenced to ten years' hard labour.
