THE INVINCIBLE'S GUNS.
LORD CHARLES BERESFORD'S STATEMENTS. [Pbesb Association— Cofyaight.] London, Feb 17. - The "Morning Post" says that there is much discussion in the Navy regarding Lord Charles Beresford's statements with' regard to the Invincible's guns "and the contradiction by Mr McKenna, First Lord of the Admiralty. . , The paper adds that it is" common knowledge that the Invincible was unable to tire her guns owing to defects in the . electrical gear, and that she "was -rushed into commission in order to impress- visitors to the Press Conference review. The "Morning Post" admits that possibly the defects had been remedied since Lord Charles Beresford spoke.
