Wellington, Feb. 18. The following is the Rot. D. C. Bate'i summary and forecast: — The winds navo veered by the north to the westward in the far north, with warm and cloudy weather, and electrical conditions threatening thunderstorms, strong westerly winds, and changeable weather have prevailed elsewhere. The present indications aro somewhat threatening in both the extremes of the north and south. A slight fall in the barometer is probable before a decided rise takes place, with strong southerly winds. In tl.o meantime fair and changeable weather is probablo generally, with moderate to strong westerly winds.
