IN CAMjI- ,ix xwrlT JERVOIS. BAD WATER SUPPLY. [United Press Christchurch, Fob 17. The members of the Lyttolton detachment of the Royal New Zealand Artillery, who are in camp at Fort Jerrois for ten days, commenced their I annual class firing yesterday morning, and concluded shooting to-day. The results of the firing are not available. Owing probably to the excessively hot weather of the past few days, the water supply at Fort Jervois has become defective, and the health of the men in cam}) has been affected. It is said that a nunjber of them have, •been badly affected with dysentry during the past two or three days. Samptes of water from tanks at the fort have been procured for analysis, for the purpose of detecting the cause of the trouble.
