MASSACRE IN THE SAHARA.
FRENCH TROOPS AMBUSHED. [Press Association — Copyright.] Tangier, Feb 16. The Sultan of Massalot, ambushing them, inflicted heavy loss on a French detachment at Abeshr, in "Wadai, Central African Sahara. Further details state that 110 native soldiers, a European captain, two lieutenants and two sergeants were massacred, and that eight natives escaped.
