DETAILS OF THE AGREEMENT.

The "Morning Post's" Ottawa correspondent says the features of the ■ new agreement are: Firstly that ( Germany abandons her contention that Canada must admit her to the British preference. Secondly, that Germany is merely admitted to the ( general tariff. Thus Canada does not imperil her relations with Washington. Thirdly, the agreement op- : crates from the first of March, and , call be terminated at two months notice.
