ATTEMPTED SUICIDE IN COURT.
SYDNEY SENSATION, j [Press Association — Copyright.] (Received Feb 18, 0.5 a.m.) Sydney, Feb 17. A man named Davidj against whom there are several convictions, including some in New Zealand, was' charged with stealing, at the Quarter Sessions. When the jury returned a verdict of -guilty, .David, exclaiming, "I am innocent; I die an imiocent man," drew a revolver and shot himself in the side. There was a sensation in Court, the Judge animadverting upon the carelessness of the officials in not searching the man.
