WOOL SALE AT NAPIER.

Napier, Feb. 17

The oonchidmg wool sale of tlie season was held in Napier $°-day, when GSOO bales were catalogued. The bulk of the fleece wool was made up of more or less faulty back country sorts, with a proportion of fairly good medium and coarse crossbreds and stragglers' fleece. There was a fair selection of bright attractive lambs' wool, but, a number of the lots were seedy and inferior. As compared with the last sale the prices ..showed very little change. I'airly good medium and -coarse fleeces were occasionally a turn dearer, and good pieces, of which there were jrery lew, showed Id to id advance. Lambs' wool was "again in strong demand,and' sold\ extremely well, seedy lots, also meeting a good market. The total number of bales offered in Napier this season is 43,250, as against 26,350 last season,
