In the Osddeigh Plate Celerity came into promineuce after entering the straight, and won a great race by a neck, a length between Pretty Peg and Captain White. There were 17 starters: time 1.7 J. The St George's Stakes resulted: Aliva 1, Maltino 2, Flavinius 3.
