DEVELOPMENT OF NEW GUINEA
**~ (Received Feb. 11, 10.20 p.m.) ~ London, Feb. 11. The British New Guinea Development Company will shortly offer in London and Australasia 500,000 7 per cent participating preference shares in Lord Ranf uriy 1 s Papuan Lands Syndicate, which receives £52,000 ia cash, and 223,000 ordinary pound shares, ranking for dividend after the latter have received theirs at 7 per cent.
