RECEPTION ARRANGEMENTS.

The Procession Committee in connection with the visit of His Excellency the Governor, met at the Oddfellows' Hall last evening. There were present: Messrs. Barrowman (Scottish Society) Prebble, Cross, Giblin and Shrimpton (Oddfellows), Hunter, Easdale and Bethwaite (Foresters), French, Fawcett and Preen (Druids), Dee and Woodward (Fire Brigade) and Karsten (Good Templars.) Mr. Karsten was voted to the chair, and Mr. Shrimpton appointed secre- • tary of the meeting. It was resolved that a procession be held and that all Societies be requested to take part. On the motion of Mr Bethwaite, seconded by Mr. Prebble, it was decided '■ that the Scottish Society's band be ' asked to attend the procession and • that members of the Society wear the national costume. It was resolved that the different units meet at the 1 Oddfellows Hall and march to Trafalgar street. Messrs Easdale and Woodward werei appointed chief marshals. The subordinate marshals were appointed as follows: — Messrs. Bethwaite (Foresters), Preen (Druids), Prebble (Oddfellows), Watson (Good : Templars), J. M.
