•m The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Wakanui will be the next ocean-going vessel to visit this port. She will load frozen mutton and general cargo for the London market about the 23rd instant. The Nelson Garrison Band will give a concert in the Botanical Reserve to-morrow (Sunday) evening, coniimencing at eight o'clock. A collection will be taken up in aid of the contest fund. The band will also play in the city this evening. Mr Frank R. Jeffreysj agent of youth of the Church Committee, will hold the services at the Pre.sbyterian Church to-morrow. The Richmond Brass Band will play at the Home for Defectives tomorrow afternoon. A garden party and. fete in connection with -, ,the ..
