[United Press Association.] Hawera, Feb 9. For the Egmont summer race meeting to-day there was fine- weather and 1 a good attendance. The totalisator [ investments amounted to £6866. The results were : — -* Flying Handicap: Clemore 1, North East 2, Sandstrcam 3. Also started, Golden Eagle, Koran, Lethean and Nicotine. Won by half a length. Mer-emere Hack FJat : Te Roti l,Kin» 2, Red Wing 3. Also started, Mulga Bill, Toanga, Timothy, True Shot, Lady Heroine Contralto, Valentine, Billingtpn, Whana,. Miss Park, Emblem, Cloririda, Lady Loo, Speedy -Meg^ St Venton. Won by half a length. Whareroa Hurdles: Playmate lj Mount Cook 2, Renumac 3. Also started, Golden Glow. Won by two lengths. Ohawe Hack Hurdles : Maggie Paul 1, Prophet 2, Kauroa 3. Als.o started Waione, Anemone, Taupo, Clemency, and Nero. Won by three lengths.

Ladies Purse Hack: Waiariki 1, Howler 2, Hiiritangi 3. Also started, Master L_i.i.c, ....^.alian. Handsome Paul, Beacon, New Star and Drift Ashore. Won by a length. Egmont Sup : Milan 1, Tiptoe 2, Sir Prize 3. Also started, Swimming Belt Bismarck, Astrala. Milan jumped to the front and won by a head. Hawera Stakes : Lord Soult I, Polymorphus 2, Prancer 8. Also Started* Ohiikoif and Patriotic. Won by a length. Waipapa Hack Flat: Red Wing 1, Perolina 2 } Starboard 3. Also started, King's Prize, Chase Mai), Lady Paul, Waimako, Lady Lupin. Won by a short head.
