WEATHER FORECAST.
Wellington, Feb. 9. ) The following is the ltev. D. C. Bate's summary aud forecast: — The weather has continued very warm aud humid, changeable but line everywhere except on the west coast, and in some places in the extreme south northerly and ve^erly winds havo prevailed, and strong winds in Cook and Forveaux Straits. Though very unsteady in the south, the barometer has made but little movement. The present indications are for a further fall in the barometric pressure in the south, with strong westerlies preceding a change to southerly winds and rising barometer. The weather will probably continue very unsettled and squally in the south, and fair northward of Kawhia and Napier.
