FURTHER COMPENSATION.
SEINE AGAIN RISING. (Received Feb. 8, 10.55 p.m.) Paris, Feb. 8. The French Government aske Parliament for a further £800,000 to compensate flood sufferers. After falling fourteen feet the Seine is again showing a tendency to rise, owing to the mild weather melting the snows.
