The Otago centre notified that it was not in favour of the proposal to make a levy on. club members towards the financing of th© New Zaeland representatives at the Olympic games, but it would, if called upon, do all -in its power to raise any amount which it might be called upon to provide for this purpose. The Otago centre favours holding the annual cross-country championship under the auspices of the Southland centre. Reinstatment as amateurs was agreed to in tho cases of J. W. McKenzie, Invercargill, and J. Garrett, Auckland.
