FIGHTING IN NICARAGUA.
HEAVY INSURGENT LOSSES. [Press Association — Copyright.] London, Feb 6. There has been desultory fighting in Nicaragua. A large body of insurgents were ambushed near Libertad, and suffered heavily. Tliey fled into the< mountains. A hundred were killed at Santo Thomas, and many wore captured. British bluejackets were landed at Greytown, and assisted to extinguish flames caused by the insurgents' gunboats' shells.
