BETTING WITH AN "INFANT."

Wellington, Feb. 7.
George Hyde, a bookmaker, was fined £10, with costs £10, to-day for betting with an infant at Trentham races. Tlie "infant" was 19 years of age. The Magistrate said it was the bookmaker's risk if he did not make sure of the age of his clients.
