a disgusted member. [Peess Association — Coftbight.] Perth, Feb. 5. Mr Fowler, Labour representativ* in the Federal Parliament for Perth for nine years, states that while he >s still staunch in the principles <n hrbich he had been elcieted, Parliamentary life had disillusioned him. The Labour Party of the first Federal Parliament was absolutely earnest^ fighting for principles ; but things had begun to alter when office loomed on tho horizon. The first Labour Ministry maintained a precarious existence by giving away the planks, of its platform, and since then the Labour leaders have had one eye< on the electors and the other on the Treasury benches. He went to his farm sick of political adventurers.
