TRAIN STOPPED BY CATERPILLARS.
Qi i L United Press Association.] Wanganui, Feb. 3. The Auckland train which left Wanganui yesterday afternoon, when a few miles from :Fordell encountered millions of caterpillars crossing the railway line, their objective being a fieild of oats. The train was stopped through, the wheels skidding, till sand was used.
