[United Phess association.] Ghrfstchurch, Feb. 2. At Addington yards there were fairly largo entries of stock and a good attendance of buyers'. Thcro was a larger yarding of storo sheep than last week, all classes being well represented, though there were not so many lambs as of late. Several lines of sheep showed that they had come from a distance. There were a few lines of good ewes, but the bulk were of medium quality and in backward condition. Most of the lots were of mode-rate quality. The late rains having improved feed prospects, tihc'ro .was an active demand for all classes, and all 'the lots were sold at an advance of Is on late rates. The demand for ewes, though early in tho season, was keen, and all lots sold readily. The rape fed lambs sold at 10s 6d to 11s 3d; forward wethers, to 13s; medium, lls 6d to 12s 6d ; small, 10s to Us 3d; good two-tooth owes, 14s to 14s 7d; medium, to 13s 9d ; two and four-tooths, 14s to 15s 7d ; six and eight-toolhs, 12s lOd to 13s 2d. Thcro was an entry of 3912 fat lambs, which were of better average quality than last week, as the improved feed prospects has enabled farmers to hold back unfinished lambs. There was a keen* demand, and prices were firmer by fully 9d to Is per head. There were 2700 taken for export, and the balance by butchers. The range of prices was 13s 9d to 14s 8d for heavy weights and tegs ; Ms 2d to 13s 6d for light to average weight. There was a moderate yarding of fat sheep, of which a large portion was ewes. The demand for wethers was steady at last week's rates. Ewes in the early part of tho sale sold well, but eased off afterwards. The range of prices was : Prime wethers, 15s to 17s 7d ; others, 12s 6d to 14s 6d ; prime ewes, lls 6d to 14s 9d; extra, 15s ; others, 8s 6d to lls. - The yarding of fat cattle totalled 261 head of .average good .quality. There was a 'dull demand, and values were easier-, especially for steers, which were £5 5s to £9 10s; heifers, £5 to £7 10s; cows, £5 to £8 7s 6d, equal t0. 20s to 21s for prime, 18s 6d to 19s 6cl for medium, 17s to 18s for cow and inferior beef per lOOlbs. Veal calves sold at 4s 6d to 525. The entry of store cattle was a small one, and consisted principally of cows. For all sorts the demand was weak, and in some instances sales were difficult to effect. Yearlings made 27s to 37s 6d; fifteen to eighteen months, £2; two year heifers, £3 ; two And a half year heifers, £3 9s to £3 lls; tlfree year steers, £5 17s 6d ; two and a half year steers, £4 18s ; three year 'Jieifers, £3 lls ; dry cows, 20s to £3 15s. There was a medium entry of dairy cows, and met with a spirited, competition. A good clearance was made at prices ranging from £3 10s to £10 OS. There was a medium entry of pigs, and fats were in good demand, but for stores there was a weaker market. H«avy baconers made 43s to 50s; lighter, 35s 6d to 41s; equal to 3gd per lb; large porkers* 32s to 3os ; and smaller, 27s to 30s, equal to 4id to 43d per lb. Medium stores made"2os to 235; smaller, 15s to 19s; weaners, 9s to 12s 6d.
