Bat»'s •ummary and forecast :^- --' The barometer has risen steadily everywhere, and moderate south westerly winds have prevailed without improvement in the weather. Present indications are foiV little movement of the barometer north of New Plymouth and Napier, with fine weather and moderate -westerly winds, but elsewhere freshening westerly winds, increasing cloudiness and a steady fall in the barometer, as a westerly area of low pressure is now due in the south.
