THE CLOSING SESSION. LDnited Press Association.] Wellington, Feb 2. At the Anglican General Synod the Yen. Archdeacons Neill, Richards and WilHams, and thcißevs J. R. Johnson, T V H. Sprott, and J. It. Wilford, were appointed members of the Board of Theological Studies. - - A committee consisting of' Archdeacons Gossett, Ca'lder, Gould, and York, and the Revs J. H. Hobs and T. H. Sprott were appointed to try and arrange for a provincial system of Sunday school instruction. The. Primate, Dean Fitchett, and Messrs J. H. Hoskjng, J. P. Woodhouse and A. A. Finch, were elected members of the Standing Commission. lii order to meet the expenditure of the Board of Theological studies it was decided that the dioceses be assessed for the next three years at £100 .per annum, the assessments to be made in the same pronortions as thoß°, for the expeiises of the General Synod ; and also that for ench of the next three years the sum of £80 be set aside b.v the Genera] Church Trust to provide exhibitions if necessary. The Synod concluded to-night.
