James Ashbury and William O'Neill, botli seamen on. the steamer iiaipara, gave evidence that, they saw the defendants and Constable Clay scuffling.' Subsequently they, saw the defendants striking at Mr /and Mrs Rolfe. As Mrs Rolfe was still unable to appear, the case was further adjourned until next Saturday, May 31st. .
