Received May 21, 9.15 p.m. Vremantle, May 21. English files contain an announcement that Jeffries has definitely decided to meet Johnson, and he expects to be his old self again after a year's training. He has already reduced his weight by 33' pounds, and is steadily regaining form. Mr Mcintosh states that he has. deposited with the "New York Journal" 5000 dollars on behalf of Burns, challenging ~any man in the world, especially Johnson.
