ARMISTICE FOR TABRIZ
AMERICAN MISSIONARY KILLED
Received April 21, 11.30 p.m. Teheran, April 21. In consequence of British and Russian representations, the Shah granted ■a week's armistice to Tabriz, to prevent the hunger-stricken tenants from attacking the Consulate. .Tile armistice had sucli a good fecfc locally that the order given at Sir Edward Grey's instance for a Russian force to occupy Tabriz has been suspended.
'Mr Baskervillo, an American . missionary, was previously killed in a Nationalist sortie to seize the enemy's bread.
