OPEN FOR INSPECTION.
The Town Schools were closed yesterday afternoon in honour of the visit of the Rakaia. Hundreds of children visited the steamer, as well as many adults, and much interest was manifested in the loading operations. Messrs Buxton and Co., Ltd., local agents for ihe New Zealand Shipping Company, notify that the Rakaia will be open for inspection to-dcy from 9 a.m. to sunset.
