A NEW FREEZING COMPANY.

'• A representative meeting of dele;ates of sheep farmers from the Bush listncts; Palmerston, Feildiug, and he Wairarapa, was held this after--10011 for thojpurpose of forming a -o-operative Freezing Cdmpany. Fourteen persdns were present, and-W-PJ.-Q.;- Cooper occupied the chair. " The meeting affirmed the desirabilty.of forming a .company, and dis-', -; russed at -length where the site of the vorks should be. No finality in this •espect was arrived at, but it was de,iided te let it be a question for the ihareholders to decide. Tho nominal Japital of the company is to be 2100,000 in shares of £5 each. . A wovisional board was appointed conjisting of Messrs J. C. Cooper and jomax (Pahiatua); Knmmer (Mautceville); Witigate and Basillie (Palm!4,ston North)-, Brookes, ivfcllroy H eliding); Groves, McKenzie, Brown, md Falconer (Wairarapa) ; McDonald Waitahora), and a gentleman, from Pongaroa. Miy Cooper was appointed chairman of Directors, and Mr Milne )f Masterton, secretary. . ;
