Eleven suffragettes, members of the Women's Social Political Union, were' arrested outside tho House ot Commons after fifty minutes of rushes and scuffles, in a pelting ram. Some of the women smacked the constables' faces. The Prince of Wales witnessed the scene, the crowd holding up his motor car.
