NOMINAL DEFENCE ROLL.
RECORD OF ALL ABLE-BODIED YOUNG MEN. — [UMTEn Pkess Association.] Wellington, March 30. The "N.Z. Times" understands instructions have been issued by the Government for the preparation of a record of able-bodied young men. This will be known as ihe nominal defence roll. Its preparation will probably be entrusted in the smaller centres to. the police, while the Volunteers will be probably asked to assist by suggesting the inclusion of any individuals known to be eligible for service.
