A' correspondent writes: "Although it is, nearly, two years since Mr Louis Brennan's invention of the mono-rail wais announced to the -world -and he gave his first exhibition with a small model in his grounds, it must not be inferred from that lapse of time that no progress has since been made and that the system is a failure when applied commercially. On; the contrary the results of patient and ceaseless experiments with his big new 40ft car on the rail have p jo ved so encouraging that within six months Mr Brennan confidently expects to be able ' to announce to the Aworld that the nfoho-rail system of locomotion as applied to every-day commercial life" is an accomplished fact and has come fco stay. -
