FUTURE MOVEMENTS. (Special to "The Colonist." Christclmrcli, March 28. The ship Nimrod will leave l:ere in the middle of next month for Sydney ci route for England, and if time.permits, she will call at Melbourne. Lieut. Shackleton goes home via Sydney. He hopas to meet the Nimrod tl.ere. The expedition, has deckled to present various geological and' zoological- collections to 'all the principal museums in Australasia. Mr Priestly the geologist, after going to England, returns to Christchurch to work up his discoveries. Mr Mawson, of the Adelaide University remains here to standardise the instruments. It has been arranged that all the Home members of the expedition meet' in London at the beginning of- June before the paity is finally disbanded: - Thf.y travel Home by various routes. Mr Murray, biologist, will remain in New Zealand to continue his biological researches. He considers New Zealand a very interesting field for his special branch of. work. Mr Wild, who had charge of the stores, kept, a black book. Practically the only heading in it (vas "The stores opened out perfectly." - F Lieut. Shackleton is deeply touched by the world's tremendous appreciation of the expedition's achievements. Lieut. Shackleton and Dr. Marshall will probably leave for Wellington tomorrow (Monday) night. The specimens of fishes obtained by the party will be presented to the Cahtcrbury Museum. The photographs obtained on the great southern journey will be developed in Christchurch, and i. is quite possible will be exhibited here.
