SOCIETY TRAGEDY AT WASHINGTON.
Washington, March 28. After the dinner in honour of Lady ' Arthur Paget at Washington, Mrs ' Pierre. Lorillard, junr.. wife of the : tobacco magnate, committed suicide by inhaling gas in a bathroom. She was still wearing her diamond coronet when she died.
