[United Press Association.] , Auckland, March 24. At the Conciliation Court to-day Mr Griles said as there could be nothing to put before the. Council in the form of a recommendation be would forward his' report to .the Arbitration Court that owing largely to. the 1 unreasonableness of the Employees' Union, voiced by Mr Long, in refusing to give evidence, no decision had been arrived at. Replying to a question, Mr Long admitted that out of about 250 pe£ sons m employment in the hotels and restaurants only 25 were members of the Union. • ..- • .The adjourned mftAtinT nf the Conciliation _ Council was held to-day to deal with the.- dispute between* the .Restaurant Employees' Union and the employers. Mr Giles then announced that there being no appearance- of Jhe applicants, the Court, under section 37 of the, Act of last sesison. could proceed as if both parties were present. ' _J."
