The Taranaki Petroleum Company's weekly report states that pumping at No. £ well was l:nderedby sanci eh- king and .cutting the cups. A fair ■amount of oil, nevertheless, is obtained, and yesterday the well flowed. Six barrels- of oil are- still at- the top of the casing. Operations at the Birthday well are expected to be resumed .next week.
