J One of the factors in the increased traffic has been the- operiirig of the Main Trunk line, bearing a large^number of Southern visitors to Auckland for the first time. The number of over-sea visitors also has been larger than usual, and at present there are. many American aridCanadicn tourists in the Doininion.
