Christchurch, March 13. : A claim for. compensation has been filed with the; Clerk of Awards, in this city by C. F .Franklin; an entry clerk, employed., by the New- Zealand Far--mer's .Co-operative Association, of Canterbury,- who' claims £300 from his employers for paralysis .of the left side of his face, due, he alleges, to the', fact that he was required to a desk where he was exposed "to a strong\ draught.
