THE BURNS-JOHNSON PICTURES
At the Theatre Royal to-morrow evening the Biograph pictures of the Burns-Johnson contest will be exhibited. The critic of a prominent Christchurcli paper wrote as follows about the above;— " The story is vividly told by the lunematograpli. There is nothing particularly revolting _ about it, save from the point of view of race prejudice. Though obviously distressed, Burns is game to the last, and even when police intervention occurs, he bears no pronounced marks of the tremendous ordeal through which he has passed."
