A WORKING PHILANTHROPIST.
Princess Christian, who had given her patronage to a matinee that took place recently at the Garnck Theatre fii aid of the League of Mercy, is distinguished as a real working .philanthropist (says an exchange), bhe has devoted herself in many ways to parish, work at Windsor, frequently assisting at concerts, bazaars and entertainments. "I sy y mister," he observed 'T^^gg* better go round the back. I™B the boy's advice, they smilingly did go round the back, where they were admitted to the Home.
